A Promise Made to Tomy

Pettomets didn’t start in a boardroom; it started with a profound loss. Ten years ago, I brought home a spirited Indie pup named Tomy. He was my shadow, my confidant, and the center of my world. Tragically, a sudden illness took him from me when he was only three years old. The feeling of helplessness during his sickness—the frantic search for clear, reliable health and dietary information that just wasn’t there—left a lasting mark on me. I realized that if I was struggling to find accurate, actionable advice, countless other pet parents were too. I promised myself I would eventually build the resource I wished I had when Tomy needed it most.

By day, I am a Civil Engineer and a Project Manager at Marandi Construction Pvt Ltd. I earned my degree from Sarala Birla University and apply that same analytical rigor and structural thinking to everything we publish on Pettomets. I believe pet care shouldn’t rely on guesswork; it requires the same careful planning and foundation as a well-built structure.

My passion for community extends beyond engineering. Having served as the City Assistant Head for the Feeding India NGO in Ranchi, I’ve seen firsthand how a little organized care can transform lives. Pettomets is simply an extension of that mission: serving our community’s most vulnerable and loving members—our pets.

When I’m not managing construction sites or researching the latest in pet nutrition, you’ll likely find me sketching architectural concepts in local cafes, hiking the trails around Jharkhand to clear my head, or continuing my community work in Ranchi.
